Spicy Grilled Chicken with Sweet Potato Fries & a glass of champange

The weekend approached and I decided to grill spicy marinated chicken breast with sweet potato fries for dinner.

I marinated it – 1 day in advance – a huge flavourful taste makes a big difference.

 

Spicy Grilled Chicken with Sweet Potato Fries & a glass of champange

Ingredients:

1 chicken breast

1  chopped sweet potato

3 slices of tomato

3 slices of cucumber

1/2 chopped green pepper

1/2 lemon

Olive oil

1 glass of Moet Chandon – Champagne

*Seasonings: Crushed Chilies, Club House; Signature Blends, a pinch of Sea Salt & Pepper

 

Instructions:

Firstly, use a small mixing bowl, place 1 raw chicken breast into the bowl and squeeze 1/2 lemon on it, add Crushed Chilies, Club House; Signature Blends seasoning,  a pinch of Sea Salt & Pepper, let it marinate for 20 minutes before grilling.

In the meantime, you can chop up the vegetables.

Afterward, put a big grill pan on the stove medium – high heat for 2 minutes and add olive oil.

Later, Once the pan is hot, use a tong to place the marinated chicken breast along with the vegetables.

Finally, grill it for 5 minutes and flip everything to the other side for another 5 minutes.

 

 

Prep Time: 5 minutes

Marinated Time: 20 minutes

Cook Time: 15 minutes

Total of 40 Minutes

In conclusion, it is best to marinate the chicken one day in advance so that the flavor will soak in. Furthermore, I paired this dish with Moet Chandon – a glass of champagne as it always makes the food taste better. A riesling white wine can be a good substitution if you don’t want to spend too much on drinks.

*A little tip when popping a champagne bottle – for the bubbles to last longer, use a fork and place it in the bottle when you store it in the fridge.
