Mexican Food: Quickest Beef Taco Dinner

TGIF – I love saying it each and every Friday. Only because it’s been a long, hard, busy week for some of us of course.

The warm weather in Toronto has been great the whole week til the weekend… Last night, I had a Beef Taco dinner. Cooking time: about 10-15 minutes.

Let’s Start!


1/2 pound of ground beef

1 bag of soft Tortillas (Personal Preference)

1 small jar of Mild Taco Sauce (Level of spiciness personal Preference)

A pinch of Pepper

2 slices of Onion

1 tsp minced garlic

2 limes, quartered, for serving

2 tbsp Sour Cream

1/2 chopped Tomato

2 chopped pieces of Lettuce

2 slices of Cheddar Cheese

1 half of the package of Seasoning Mix

Olive oil


Firstly, start off by chopping all the vegetables and place them on a plate, and put the sour cream & taco sauce in two separate bowls.

Secondly, Use a Sauce Pan, turn the stove to med-high heat then put olive oil in the pan and add the garlic, add the ground beef, stir it thoroughly till it becomes brown and then add the Taco Mild – Seasoning Mix and continue stirring until it’s cooked. Once it’s all cooked place the ground beef into a bowl.

Prep Time: 5 minutes

Cook Time: 10 minutes

Total of 15 minutes

This is a serving for 4 beef soft tacos.

In conclusion, the brand of products I like to purchase when making Beef or Chicken Tacos is “Old El Pasco“. For me, Old El Paso never disappoints. Fun fact: Old El Pasco has been established since 1938.
