Korean Food: Ramen Noodle Soup

On a chilly rainy Thursday what better to cook than a “Ramen Noodle Soup”?

The temperature has dropped and winter season has finally arrived, because of this cold temperature the best type of food to eat is Asian Noodles Soup. Even though I am not a big fan of Ramen I decided to make the soup anyway because it is the best option for the Winter season and a good substitution for chicken noodle soup. Likewise, this type of noodles is very soft and full of spicy flavor.

Ingredients:

2 carrots

2 pieces of lettuce

1 package of Ramen Noodles + seasoning package

1 egg

2 cups of water

This is a serving of 1 bowl.

Instructions:

Ramen Noodles Soup

1) Chop up the 2 carrots and lettuce. Then use a sauce pan fill it up with water half way and put it on the stove about medium – high heat, then boil the carrots only for 5 minutes.

2) Then place the noodles in the soup base let it simmer for 2 minutes until the noodles soften up – cut the seasoning package open and add to the soup base. Also, Crack 1 egg open in the soup base and stir it- let it simmer for 4-5 minutes then it’s ready!

Lastly, put the lettuce in a bowl and then add the ramen noodle soup.

Prep Time: 7 minutes

Cook Time: 5 minutes

Total of 12 minutes

Now you have a homemade Ramen Noodle Soup within 12 minutes.

In Conclusion, the Ramen noodles brand I purchased is “Samyang” with spicy flavor.
