Winner of OpenTable Diner’s Choice Award 2016, The Fifth Grill & Terrace is known for its fine cuisine, impeccable service and charming ambience.
On December 9, 2016, My company holiday party took place at “The Fifth Grill & Terrace” which was spectacular, a cocktail or dinner on the interior terrace comes with the promise of a carefree, great service, friendly staff and relaxed evening.
The Dining Room has an eclectic decor with a wood burning fireplace and an understated elegance. It is a perfect location for a private event, wedding or special celebration.
The three-course meal I selected:
Firstly, I started it off with:
Appetizer: GOAT CHEESE TART, MEDITERRANEAN SALAD, PROSCIUTTO – I didn’t take a picture of this one but I thought the salad was a bit dry partly because there was no dressing on the salad.
Secondly, the main course:
6oz. FILET MIGNON which I paired with red wine – it was cooked medium rare as requested, it tasted fabulous I was speechless after I took just one bite, the potatoes had a nice golden brown crust and paired well with the steak.
This one was a side dish – Frites & Green Beans
Lastly, the Dessert: Crème Brûlée, Passion Fruit Macaron paired nicely with a glass of champagne
Finally, Thanks to the lovely Associate at my firm, I can discuss another dessert, his dessert; Chiboust, Ontario Blueberries, Orange Flower Ice Cream. I can’t speak for how it tasted but it looked amazing with some blueberries in the middle.
In conclusion, the overall experience at The Fifth Grill & Terrace was pleasant, intimate and elegant with amazing food & drinks and I definitely would dine here again.
